Where Mysteries Lie
As shown on some other photos in this collection, this was on the Puget Sound ferry crossing to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. The day was very bright with a crisp winter sun, but a heavy fog bank lay over the Sound. It was amazing getting immersed into the fog, cutting off the golden glow of the sun completely, and making you feel like you were alone in the middle of the sea.
It was a brilliant moment for taking some long calming breaths of fresh air and enjoying the mirage of solitude the fog provided.
