Into a New Realm
I took this photo at the Pacific coast of Washington state. I held my camera down at the level of the water as it came sweeping up the sandy beach toward me. The resulting photo is mystical and otherworldly in a very peaceful and calming way.
The water was reflecting the beautiful colors of the sky which had just begun to develop into the colors of the sunset. The early sunset colors were still quite muted compared to what they would be later on in the evening, and they remind me more of what the sunrise over the ocean on the East Coast looks like.
